Chester Bennington's Body Contained Ecstasy & Alcohol At The Time Of His Death

TMZ has reported that according to the information in Chester Bennington's autopsy and toxicology reports, there were amounts of alcohol and MDMA (ecstacy) found in his system at the time of his suicide. Police say that they found a prescribed bottle of Zolpidem (aka Ambien) at the scene, as well as a half-glass of beer and an empty bottle.

Bennington's death was ruled as suicide via hanging.

According to his wife Talinda Bennington, Chester had been fighting a long battle against depression, substance abuse and suicide, including a 2006 suicide attempt where he left the house with a gun after a long night of drinking.
