'Bohemian Rhapsody' & Rami Malek Score Golden Globe Nominations

With award season beginning to ignite, the Golden Globes have announced all of the nominees in film and television for the 2019 awards ceremony. And it's no surprise that the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody scored high as one of this year's top contenders.

Bohemian Rhapsody received a nomination for "Best Motion Picture - Drama" alongside Black Panther, BlacKkKlandsman, If Beale Street Could Talk and the other top musical film of 2018 A Star Is Born.

Rami Malek also received a nomination for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury for "Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama" along with Bradley Cooper in A Star Is Born, Willem Dafoe in At Eternity's Gate, Lucas Hedges in Boy Erased and John David Washington in BlacKkKlansman.

Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg have been confirmed to be the hosts of the 2019 Golden Globes and will air on Sunday, January 6th, 2019 at 8pm EST on NBC.
