Travis Barker Suing Over Medical Procedure & Bus Accident That Prevented Him From Touring

September 19, 2018

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been dealt months worth of bad luck after he was struck by a bus in an auto accident, and after a medical procedure left him with nerve damage, a staph infection, as well as damage to his veins.

According to TMZ, Barker's injuries have left him unable to play the drums, let alone allow him to tour or live a regular life.

According to the lawsuit, Barker says he travelled to Santa Monica, CA to visit The Medical Imaging Center for an MRI before Blink-182's summer tour. Before the procedure, Barker was sedated and the technicians struck him at least 40 times with a dirty needle in an attempt to find a vein. The result left him with a staph infection.

Barker was also involved in an auto accident after being struck by a school bus that made an illegal left turn. He is suing both the bus driver and the bus company.
