Having a song go platinum is a big deal. But for newcomers Bad Wolves, it's a huge deal. The band announced that their cover of The Cranberries' song "Zombie" has been RIAA certified as the first platinum rock song in the US for 2018.

"We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our manager Zoltan Bathory, our label owner Allen Kovac, our attorney Eric German and buisness manager Kristin Lee for their guidance and support in navigating so many major life changes this past year," the band said in a statement.

"To The Cranberries and Dolores for embracing our rendition and the O’riordan Family for all of their support. To our incredible road crew and most of all the FANS WHO MADE ALL OF THIS POSSIBLE to whom we owe our entire success we are so grateful!"
