35 Years Ago, Ozzy Osbourne's Bat-Bite Raised Safety Concerns At Boston Concert

On April 2nd, 1982, there was a greater police presence than usual at the Ozzy Osbourne concert at the Boston Garden. This comes on the heels of a series of incidents alleged animal abuse involving Ozzy biting the heads off of a bat and two doves, as well as hurling raw meat into the crowd onstage.

According to a story by Eyewitness News reporter Dan Rea, Ozzy's outlandish antics raised concerns with the city of Boston. However, many of Ozzy's fans were not worried at all. Watch the full report as well as Rea's sense of prop comedy. (Classic Dan!)
